Every mockup is a layered PSD, built with a smart object so you can drop your own design in without touching the background, lighting, or shadows. Bundles and series come as one download with all the individual PSDs inside.

Adobe Photoshop. The smart objects are built to work in recent versions, if you're on a much older release and something looks off, tell us the version and we'll check it.

How do I actually use a smart object?

Double-click the smart object layer's thumbnail, it opens as its own file. Place or paste your design in, save, close that window, and Photoshop updates the mockup automatically. No manual warping or masking needed.

Can I resize the mockup or change the background color?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The layers underneath the smart object are editable like any normal PSD, so backgrounds, color grading, and cropping can all be adjusted. Just don't expect the lighting on your design to relight itself if you make major changes, that part's baked in from how the file was built.
